Network pentest: your infrastructure tested from the outside and from within

In a network penetration test (pentest), we examine how far an attacker can get into your IT environment. From the outside, through everything that is connected to the internet, and from within, for example from a stolen laptop, an infected workstation or the guest network. You see exactly which doors are open and how to close them.

External: what does an attacker see from the internet?

Firewalls, VPN gateways, mail servers, remote desktops, published applications: everything that is reachable from the internet forms your perimeter. We map that perimeter and test where it can be breached, using the same techniques that attackers use.

Internal: what if someone is already inside?

The most important question that many organizations have never tested: suppose an attacker gets hold of a single workstation, a single password or only the Wi-Fi guest network, how far can they get? Among other things, we test network segmentation, permission structures, password policy and Active Directory, outdated systems and the routes from an ordinary workstation to your crown jewels.

What do you get?

A report with all vulnerabilities found, the risk for your situation per finding and clear remediation advice that your IT partner can act on right away. We report critical findings immediately during the test, not just in the report. And after the fixes, we verify with a retest if you wish.

Frequently asked questions

Will the test disrupt our systems?
We schedule risky actions in consultation with you, for example outside office hours, and we do not use techniques that put unnecessary load on your environment.

Do we need to inform our IT provider?
That is up to you. Sometimes the question "what is our IT partner overlooking" is the very reason for the test. If you prefer, we work under confidentiality and inform the provider only when we deliver the report.

How long does a network pentest take?
For an infrastructure test, 40 hours is a common starting point, depending on the size of your environment. After the intake you receive a fixed price.
